New Staff Attorney Fights for Workers’ Rights

Make the Road is thrilled to welcome Julian Gonzalez to our Legal Department. Julian specializes in labor and employment law, and has years of experience working on behalf of immigrant workers. Before joining us, Julian worked for Unite Here Local 100 in New York and Teamsters for a Democratic Union in Detroit. He's also been a community organizer.

Julian is a graduate of Northeastern University Law School.

In addition to providing legal counsel, Julian will work hand-in-hand with our Workplace Justice Project as well as provide Workplace Rights trainings for Make the Road members.

Already, Julian's lawyering and wicked sense of humor have endeared him to members and staff. Welcome aboard Julian!
