MRNY members tell the President it’s time to #GoBigObama and stop deportations

MRNY members are bravely sharing their immigration stories and standing up to lawmakers who have turned their backs on our families. The time is NOW for President Obama to use executive action to help fix our broken immigration system. Families like Juan Carlos, Nancy, Yan, Denis and Axel can no longer wait for Congress.

Watch their story in the New York Times and put in your call to President Obama:

Make the Road and thousands of allies are joining in a national day of action in Washington, DC on Thursday, August 28. You can help support by calling President Obama now and, if you are able to join us, contact Daniel for more information on the march.

Please call the White House now at (202) 456-1111, and use this script:

“I’m calling to urge President Obama to live up to our country’s obligation to protect immigrant families. The President should take immediate action to stop deporting all undocumented immigrants who are unjustly caught in our broken immigration system, and to make sure refugee children have due process and humane treatment. Thank you.”
