2020 in Review
In 2020 we confronted an unprecedented public health emergency and continuing xenophobic attacks from Washington.
When COVID-19 hit, we jumped to address job loss and hunger, and supported families dealing with sickness and death in terrible conditions.
We sustained thousands with emergency case management, legal representation for tenants and workers, online leadership training for youth, and virtual ESOL classes.
We launched vibrant campaigns to #CancelRent for tenants and provide funds to workers excluded from government relief. We stood strong against white supremacy, winning policies to rein in police abuse and stopping some of the worst attacks with impact litigation.
Now, we look to the future with hope, ready to organize more fiercely than ever for the respect and dignity our communities deserve.
