Our Recent Impact

We are thrilled to announce a major victory in our movement: immigration relief for half a million undocumented people!

This victory was the direct result of our communities’ years of unrelenting pressure on the Biden Administration, holding them accountable to passing critical immigration reform.

Ultimately, the power of our movement made this possible – thank you to our members, organizers, supporters, and allies for fighting for and alongside immigrant communities.

With your support, we will keep fighting to achieve a permanent pathway to citizenship for all immigrants and a welcoming home for all!

As the Mayor prepares to deliver his executive budget, New Yorkers from across the city gathered at City Hall Park to deliver powerful testimonies that emphasize the need to implement policies that would bring transformative changes to working-class and immigrant communities.

Federal Judge rules against DACA, again!

On September 13, 2023, Judge Hanen in Texas found the new DACA regulation (published in 2022) unlawful for the same reasons that he had previously held the original version of DACA unlawful. But he again paused his own decision to allow current DACA recipients to continue to renew while his decision is appealed to higher courts. This result is disappointing but expected. Now we expect another appeal to the Fifth Circuit to follow.

Advocates rally days after Kawaski Trawick case announcement

Demonstrators protested Tuesday evening, days after the NYPD announced they would not discipline the police officers involved in the death of Kawaski Trawick. “Mayor [Eric] Adams should be ashamed of himself as a father and as a Black man for not firing the police who murdered my son,” said organizer Keith Fuller as he read a statement from the Trawick family.
