Did you go to the polls this week?
If not, there’s still plenty of time! Early voting is underway and will continue through Sunday, November 3rd. New York registered voters can make our voices heard in the general election. Make your voice heard for candidates whose values align with yours
Early voting means avoiding potential lines on Election Day, and your vote counts just the same. What matters is that you get out there and cast your ballot!

So much is at stake for Black, brown, immigrant and working class communities in the fight for respect and dignity for all here in New York, including protecting fundamental rights and abortion access. We must also defend democracy and defeat Mayor Adams’ attempt to enact dangerous and anti-democratic changes to New York City’s constitution that would erode the city government’s system of checks and balances. We recommend New Yorkers vote YES on Proposition 1, and NO on Propositions 2 through 6.
Youth leaders from our Youth Power Project are making their voices heard for the first time:
“I want someone in office that can represent me and other young people like myself…We are the future.” – Kamil Stewart from Brooklyn
“This will be the first time I will be eligible to vote. I want to make sure my right as a person with a uterus will be respected, and as a daughter of immigrants, that every human being is given the same and equal opportunity to thrive in this country.” – Elizabeth Leon from Long Island
“I feel nervous and excited about this election. It’s the first time I will be able to make my voice heard and support my community. I think my vote doesn’t just represent me, but it also represents those in my community who don’t have the privilege to vote and members of my family. To youth, I say, the future is in our hands, and we have to build that future.” – Carlos Sanchez from Queens
So what are you waiting for? This is your opportunity to build the world we want for future generations, and also to vote on behalf of those whose voices can’t be heard at the polls.
