From our partners: This Wednesday, March 20, is the launch of the groundbreaking report that tracks global banks’ financing of fossil fuels. The 2019, Banking on Climate Change report card will for the first time measure financing to all fossil fuels, as well as financing to the biggest expanders. The report, produced in collaboration by Rainforest Action Network, BankTrack, Indigenous Environmental Network, Oil Change International, Sierra Club, and Honor the Earth, endorsed by over 160 organizations around the world, reveals that 33 global banks have provided an exorbitant amount of money into fossil fuel since the Paris Agreement was adopted.
