The weekend before the Global Climate Action Summit in San Francisco, the Peoples Climate Movement will lead a nation-wide mobilization: Rise for Climate, Jobs, and Justice. The first action will be on Thursday, September 6th, as New Yorkers gather in Battery Park (exact location tbd) at 5:30pm demanding immediate action from Governor Andrew Cuomo, Mayor Bill de Blasio, and all elected officials.
