PERSONAL STATEMENT, a documentary film featuring BSSJ graduate Christine Rodriguez, currently at the New School. The film follows three remarkable high schools students working to support their peers through the college process and illustrates the challenges facing first-generation college students in realizing their post-secondary aspirations. It also highlights the amazing work of the Student Success Center here at Bushwick Campus and others like it around the city and the fight young people have led in NYC to make it all possible.
