Make A Difference Today
Introducing our Make the Road NY Reusable Bag: show your support for immigrant and working-class New Yorkers proudly when you carry home your groceries or stop at the gym!
Starting March 1st, plastic bags became banned throughout the state, and paper bags now come with a fee in NYC. Donate $15 or more and we’ll send you our convenient (and good looking!) reusable bag as a gift to ease this transition.
- $15 dollars (includes shipping)
See below for more ways to give and invest in our work for immigrant and working-class communities. Thank you for standing with us!

Legacy and Planned Giving
You can continue the fight for dignity and justice for future generations through bequests, gifts of life insurance, charitable lead trusts and other investments. Please contact Development Director Julie Miles at 718-418-7690 x1203 or via e-mail for more information.
In some class action litigation, funds remain unclaimed after distribution to the plaintiffs. The cy-pres doctrine permits the designation of the residual funds to a non-profit charitable organization whose work advances the public interest issues presented by the litigation. Granting these awards to Make the Road New York is an invaluable way to honor and advance the interests of vulnerable workers and families.
