Push to Get Minorities to Vote in Suffolk Election

 

CENTRAL ISLIP — Local organizations have been working for weeks to encourage more minority voter participation in the Suffolk County election, which will be held on Tuesday. Volunteers from the Long Island Civic Engagement Table and Make the Road New York held a ‘get out the vote’ gathering Saturday to urge minority voters in Central Islip and Brentwood to make their voices heard in the election.
