Youth Film Institute Benefit

New Children/New York, which sponsors the Youth Film Institute at Make the Road by Walking, is hosting a benefit to support their fantastic Saturday youth program here at Make the Road.

Monkey Town 

Wednesday, April 18 from 7 to 11 pm. 

 

58 N. 3rd Street, between Wythe and Kent Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Take the L train to Bedford. Walk south to N. 3rd Street., turn right. Walk west three blocks, and Monkey Town is in the middle of the block between Wythe and Kent on the left hand side. For more info, go to: http://monkeytownhq.com

New Children/New York is a two-part film project currently underway that seeks to address notions of identity and the immigrant experience from the perspective of Latino youth in New York City.
