Over the past 5 months, FEMA has failed Puerto Rican families with their response to the hurricane. Their work, has broken the hearts of thousands of families in the island by providing inaccurate food, housing and support on the island. Moreover, in the US, FEMA has threatened on numerous times to stop the vouchers that are helping displaced families live in hotels while their houses back home are rebuilt.
For this reason, On February 20th, New York community members will be going to FEMA offices in NYC and delivering valentines day postcards to demand that FEMA extend the stay of Puerto Ricans in the US and provide the resources needed for the island,
