Working class and immigrant New Yorkers face a variety of intersecting challenges every day.

As a result of deeply entrenched systems of oppression, our communities face innumerable issues: more schools are overcrowded and under-resourced; the economic system drains resources, health, and good jobs from our neighborhoods; youth and transgender & gender nonconforming and lesbian, gay, bisexual & queer (TGNCIQ) folks are over-policed in school and on the streets; and many immigrant families live in constant fear of separation.
