While New York’s 118 billionaires have fled to their Hamptons mansions built on stolen land, and gotten $45 billion richer since the beginning of the pandemic, working people are choosing between paying rent or buying food. Thousands of others have been completely excluded from receiving any type of relief. Yet in the midst of this crisis, Governor Andrew Cuomo is proposing cutting funding for schools, hospitals and housing instead of taxing the rich who are profiting from our pain and looting our communities.
Join us on this car-caravan protest to the Hamptons to say to billionaires and Governor Cuomo that “enough is enough”.
