WHAT: Make the Road New York (MRNY), NYCs largest membership-led, community-based organization, will host community members, elected officials and funders to celebrate the grand opening of our new, 5,000 square-foot office and meeting space in northwest Queens. Located in Elmhurst, the most diverse immigrant neighborhood in all of New York City, the new location is centrally situated to serve the surrounding neighborhoods of Jackson Heights, Corona, and Woodside, in which roughly 480,000 people reside. This new center will be a hub of community action and support – a place where thousands of immigrant New Yorkers will find opportunities for learning and civic engagement.
